Virtual Environment
HIRSHHORN X GENESIS
The GENESIS Innovation Campus previewed in late 2020 with its first HIRSHHORN X GENESIS collaboration
RESPECT HER CRANK! was held as an interactive virtual experience using Hubs by Mozilla, an online 3D modeling lab.
RESPECT HER CRANK! was the final event of the HIRSHHORN MUSEUM series about the role of women in the Go-Go music scene. It brought the Hirshhorn's ARTLAB summer intern-created spaces to the public and featured music and videos from past events in the series.
Working in collaboration with Mozilla’s Research Team, we were able to push the boundaries of the platform to create unprecedented access to virtual mixed reality education for realtime remote learning and real-time collaboration accessible by computer, VR and mobile devices.

2022 MUSE CREATIVE AWARD IN EXPERIENTIAL AND IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENTS
The pandemic accelerated the need for a paradigm shift in education and communication.
With onsite teaching not possible and students faltering academically, there was a mandate for development of meaningful digital platforms that would keep this demographic engaged and learning.
In the summer of 2020, Narduli STUDIO was commissioned to design a virtual campus for GENESIS, a nonprofit committed to providing free STEAM learning for students around the country.
Since its first event, Narduli STUDIO has continued the collaboration with GENESIS to design spaces that offer programs and events for its Museum partners. A second exhibition for HIRSHHORN X GENESIS opened in 2021. Rep My City! tells the story of Washington DC through the eyes of DC public schools students.
When the GENESIS Innovation Campus opens it will be at the forefront of a new virtual learning
